How we transformed a house !

‘We wanted our whole house (more or less) renovated and was expecting to need to go to 2-3 different companies to do this. I contacted Modern Homes with a view to them working on the kitchen and bathroom but, on meeting Tina and Daniel, it became apparent that they could do everything I wanted. They came and viewed the house, listened to our ideas and went away and drew up plans. We went to their showroom and were blown away by what was proposed – absolutely what we wanted. The work commenced on schedule, over-ran a little but delivered exactly what was promised and was pretty much on budget, only slightly more than we were quoted due to us suggesting changes as the work progressed. Their team were brilliant, listening to us throughout, and nothing was too much trouble for them. They returned a couple of times after the bulk of the work was completed in order to make adjustments that only became apparent as we lived in our new surroundings. The quality of finish is outstanding and I would wholeheartedly recommend Modern Homes to take on any home improvements, big jobs or small.’
So this is what makes our work worthwhile and also showcases how much we can achieve for a client !
Starting upstairs we renovated the bathroom by removing the old bath and replacing with a modern walk in shower , changed free standing sanitaryware to modern built in furniture with much needed storage , new downlights and extraction and wall tiling and karndean flooring.
Next onto the main bedroom altered to provide new wardrobes, desk area , additional electrics , bedside table storage, new flooring , lighting including a gorgeous chandelier.
There was no downstairs WC so we created room for one by combing some of the space under the stairs with taking a small section of the kitchen – this was fitted out with WC wash hand basin unit, new lighting and extraction – tiled with new flooring
The living room we designed and installed new fitted units for storage along with tall glass dresser units to display their beautiful artifacts
The kitchen design was altered massively to create a seating area by the garden and incorporating a much wanted American Style fridge freezer
We fitted new karndean wood plank flooring throughout the downstairs and arranged the decorators to follow on and decorate throughout .
