Trends have moved on over the last 55 years, as Modern Homes’ Director Tina Riley is quick to point out; “Kitchens used to be white with primary colours, then antique pine, then limed oak,” she says. “Over the last few years, because kitchens are good quality and last a long time, we find that choices can tend to be less fashion-conscious. We don’t have one particular bestselling range any more: every customer wants something different.”
